Christmas Pics 2008

Nick ripping into his Christmas presents. Our throw together tree with a few ornaments, store bought balls and home made ornaments. Didn't want to buy too many since we have so much Christmas stuff in storage.

Maiyah loved the doll house that Santa left her. Nick and Maiyah also got new flip-flops in their stockings. Maiyah's first pair! I don't think she took them off all day. I guess Santa knows that "slippers" as they call them here are a must in Hawaii. Don't you love the horribly bright yellow walls our rental has.

Beautiful views before we went to a luau with the family Christmas Eve. Nate here is a beach with awesome sand for you!

Nick's first Christmas program at his preschool. He was chosen to be Rudulph. Not the best picture sorry.

Nick's preschool invited Santa to join the group after the program.

I have to find some better pictures of Mike's family visiting. More pics to come!

A couple of more pics....

These ones are for Samantha! Just to make her a little more jealous...

It is gorgeous here! Aaaaghhhh!

More pictures from our last weekend adventure!

We had a great time! The weather was a little chilly (if you call 70 degrees chilly) and rainy but it was still alot of fun. The kids were soaked by the time we got back to the car.

Bigger pictures.

So I didn't get them up right away since posting the small ones but here they are.

Small pictures

Okay I was cheating by taking the pictures off of Mike's facebook, but looks like I need to repost the pictures tonight from home so they are bigger.

Until tonight...

Weekend Adventures

So I haven't put up the holiday pictures yet but I do have some photos from the weekend. We took a trip around the Island to check out some of the beautiful waterfalls. It was a very bumpy ride on the worn out road and really windy in some areas but the waterfall we hiked to was amazing. Nick and Maiyah enjoyed stomping through the water and hiking through the rocks. Nick is the cautious one at first and Maiyah continues to go through life with no fear, taking things head on.

"The wedding of two great friends"

Well I thought it was time to update you on the Harvey Happenings from before we left Colorado Springs. The big event that we were waiting for came on July 12th. 2 years previous it all started with me telling a co-worker that I know just the right guy for you and he is a Packers fan too! That was the beginning and now they are both starting a whole new beginning together...married and just moved to San Antonio in Nov. to start their new lives together. Great friends that are like family that we miss dearly. Mike, Nick, and myself were all in the wedding so thank goodness aunt and uncle were there to help us with Maiyah. Nate and Nick were the studs of the day, so we just traded Maiyah and Nate for a day :)

Not a great picture of the 4 of us together, but the best one I can find.

Nick and Nate talking it all over -
Nate "So are you in love yet Nick"
Nick "I am not sure there are so many girls to choose from but there is this one girl"

One of those friends that you just click with and then you wonder how you ever survived without her.

The happy couple in the limo after the ceremony. Mike goofying off as usual :)

The troop of kids with Aunt and Uncle and The Rollings. Looks so peaceful doesn't it.

Let's see I think the 4th of July next. Guess I did this a little out of order. Oh well. Enjoy!
